Énoncé

Pour un corps pur fermé de composition fixée,

dU=T dS−P dV.\mathrm dU=T\,\mathrm dS-P\,\mathrm dV.
  1. Construire H=U+PVH=U+PV et calculer dH\mathrm dH. Quelles sont ses variables naturelles ?
  2. Construire F=U−TSF=U-TS et calculer dF\mathrm dF.
  3. Construire G=U+PV−TSG=U+PV-TS et calculer dG\mathrm dG.
  4. Écrire une relation de Maxwell issue de chacun des quatre potentiels UU, HH, FF et GG.
  5. Pour nn moles de gaz parfait monoatomique, calculer H(T)H(T) et vérifier que dH=ncP dT\mathrm dH=nc_P\,\mathrm dT avec cP=5R/2c_P=5R/2.

Indication

Indication
Développer chaque différentielle avec la règle du produit, puis remplacer dU\mathrm dU avant de simplifier.

Solution détaillée

Solution
1.

dH=dU+P dV+V dP=T dS+V dP.\mathrm dH=\mathrm dU+P\,\mathrm dV+V\,\mathrm dP =T\,\mathrm dS+V\,\mathrm dP.

Les variables naturelles de HH sont donc (S,P)(S,P).

2.

dF=dU−T dS−S dT=−S dT−P dV.\mathrm dF=\mathrm dU-T\,\mathrm dS-S\,\mathrm dT =-S\,\mathrm dT-P\,\mathrm dV.

Les variables naturelles de FF sont (T,V)(T,V).

3.

dG=dU+P dV+V dP−T dS−S dT=−S dT+V dP.\mathrm dG=\mathrm dU+P\,\mathrm dV+V\,\mathrm dP -T\,\mathrm dS-S\,\mathrm dT =-S\,\mathrm dT+V\,\mathrm dP.

Les variables naturelles de GG sont (T,P)(T,P).

4. L'égalité des dérivées croisées donne respectivement

(∂T∂V)S=−(∂P∂S)V,(∂T∂P)S=(∂V∂S)P,(∂S∂V)T=(∂P∂T)V,(∂S∂P)T=−(∂V∂T)P.\left(\frac{\partial T}{\partial V}\right)_S =-\left(\frac{\partial P}{\partial S}\right)_V, \qquad \left(\frac{\partial T}{\partial P}\right)_S =\left(\frac{\partial V}{\partial S}\right)_P, \left(\frac{\partial S}{\partial V}\right)_T =\left(\frac{\partial P}{\partial T}\right)_V, \qquad \left(\frac{\partial S}{\partial P}\right)_T =-\left(\frac{\partial V}{\partial T}\right)_P.

5. Pour le gaz parfait monoatomique,

H=U+PV=32nRT+nRT=52nRT.H=U+PV=\frac32nRT+nRT=\frac52nRT.

Ainsi dH=(5/2)nR dT=ncP dT\mathrm dH=(5/2)nR\,\mathrm dT=nc_P\,\mathrm dT avec cP=5R/2c_P=5R/2.
